Are Go World certificates government approved?

No. Go World courses are privately developed training and issue a Go World Certificate of Completion. They are not represented as government-issued, WorkSafe Saskatchewan-approved or WCB-approved.

What is the final examination pass mark?

The default pass mark is 80% and is configurable per course.

How issuance works

Certificate generation is enforced on the server. A certificate is only created when all required lessons are complete, all required activities and knowledge checks are complete, the final examination is passed at the required score, and the course is published. Nothing about completion can be changed from the browser.

Expiry and revocation

Courses may set an expiry period (commonly three years). Expired certificates show as EXPIRED on verification. Administrators can revoke a certificate for a documented reason; the historical record is retained and public verification displays CERTIFICATE REVOKED.
